Efforts to Move China Currency Bill through Congress Seemingly Lose Momentum Despite Growing Trade Deficit

There is increasing evidence that congressional efforts to approve legislation to address the alleged undervaluation of China's currency have lost considerable momentum over the past several weeks despite a growing U.S. trade deficit with the mainland and a deteriorating outlook for the U.S. economy.
